Our five areas of work

Five focus areas, one common thread:
the community.

Five interdependent themes, implemented with local actors and our institutional partners — Pharmaciens Sans Frontières Luxembourg, , Ministry of Health of Senegal, IEF Foundiougne.

Area 01

Community health

Strengthen the entire local health system — infrastructure, medicines, prevention, worker capacity.

In partnership with Pharmaciens Sans Frontières Luxembourg and the Ministry of Health of Senegal, we are running a 2025-2027 three-year programme in the communes of Toubacouta, Karang Poste, Keur Samba Gueye and Keur Saloum Diané. Our approach: act on every link at the same time, rather than as an isolated intervention.

On the field, concretely:

  • Construction, rehabilitation and equipping of health infrastructure
  • Medicine supply to health posts
  • Support for pupil enrolment in UDAM (health coverage)
  • Training and capacity building of health workers
  • Social mobilization and prevention awareness
4 communes covered by the PSF 2025-2027 program

Area 02

Water, hygiene and sanitation

Access to drinking water and dignified sanitation in Niombato villages and schools.

Water is the first gateway to development. We install water points, build school latrines, and train communities in good hygiene practices — so that what we achieve lasts beyond our presence.

On the field, concretely:

  • Boreholes and community water points
  • School latrine construction
  • Hygiene awareness (handwashing, boiled water)
  • Student nutritional reinforcement
  • Public space sanitation
+ 241 students supplied with drinking water (Karang Poste, 2025)

Area 03

Training & capacity building

Pass on skills locally so communities lead their own development.

We train health workers, teachers, village committees and community actors. The goal: in time, every village should have the skills to keep things going — without permanent dependence on outside aid.

On the field, concretely:

  • Continuous training of community health workers
  • Teacher training in active pedagogies (with IEF)
  • Support to village management committees
  • Training of women leaders and youth
  • Creation of permanent community relays
+ 2,400 students reached indirectly (80 teachers trained)

Area 04

Fundraising and project management

Build, fund and steer credible projects with international donors and Senegalese institutions.

We have built a technical capacity for project design recognized by our donors: PSF Luxembourg, Word Connect New York, Hydraulique Sans Frontières France, Ministry of Health of Senegal, IEF Foundiougne. This expertise allows us to seek funding where it is and to manage each program with rigor.

On the field, concretely:

  • Monitoring of national and international calls for projects
  • Funding proposal drafting
  • Operational steering and budget monitoring
  • Accountability to partners
  • Lobbying support to local authorities
4 partners institutional partners active over 2025-2027

Area 05

Monitoring and evaluation

Measure real impact — not just displayed activity — and publish results every quarter.

We collect field data, validate indicators, and publish our results quarterly — beneficiaries reached, infrastructure delivered, medicines distributed. This discipline is what allows us to continue earning the trust of our donors and communities.

On the field, concretely:

  • Field data collection by local surveyors
  • SMART indicator definition per project
  • Quarterly audits published online
  • Beneficiary mapping
  • Impact evaluation at mid-term and end of program
1 report / quarter published and accessible to all beneficiaries
